Ships and Ports are one of the major emitters of Black Carbon representing up to 15% of the Global Black Carbon emissions, and up to 5% of the Global Greenhouse Gases. For example, one cruise ship emits as many as 2,000,000 diesel cars.
We reduce both CO2 and Black Carbon emissions to mitigate long-term climate change and improve short-term air quality. Each unit we install can capture up to 167 million MT of Black Carbon and 32 million MT of CO2, based on the vessel’s size, engine, and lifespan.
